InfestationLarge numbers may occur indoors in damp sites or close to doors to outside, at ground level. They can be in basements and baths. They don't bite but can be a nuisance by their presence. IdentificationThey are 1/16 inch long, black, bluish black, or brown, and gray. The antennae are distinct in some, they all hop when disturbed. ControlIndoors a pyrethroid spray may be used, also treat outdoors to reduce the population in the mulch; vacuuming and drying the site will help control them. |
