Infestation
Found in kitchens and bathrooms; places where food and water are available; an indoor est throughout the year; nymphs and egg cases easily moved from stores to houses. Adults do not fly.
Identification
Light brown, with two stripes behind the head; nymphs dark brown with stripes. Females carry egg case until it is ready to hatch.
Control
Use gel baits in rooms that are infested, apply bait inside harborages or other cracks and crevices; re-apply the bait when it is eaten; spray surfaces near infested harborages, use dust and liquid to treat cracks and crevices.
