InfestationThese small mice are usually pests in the fall, when they enter buildings in search of food or a nest site. They get into wall voids, attics, kitchens, and basements. They will eat a variety of food indoors. IdentificationThe field mouse is small and has a white underside; they do not normally live inside, but enter to find food, and may remain. ControlSnap traps are the best strategy for mouse control; use several traps, and place them where mouse activity has been seen; the mose traps used the more likely of success. Avoid using baits, because mice may die in wall voids and create an odor. |
